Item arrived in a lovely black leather pouch. The barbed wire on the chain does have a slightly different silver tone in contrast to the 9mm Cuban links. The chain links are certainly made from genuine stainless steel, just not sure what base metal was used for the barbed wire sections. Nonetheless, I've had the chain for 2 weeks, roughly, and it's been worn daily in the shower, when I've gone skateboarding, and also when sleeping at night with absolutely no tarnishing/fading at all. Overall, I think this chain is well worth it for the price! Definitely wasn't made using fake (plated copper) metal, which was my biggest concern. 🤘🖤

Good quality stainless steel and heavy. And I really live the design Downside the size charts don't reflect the actually size very well I got second largest one 20" (50cm)and as you can see by image it doesn't sit half as far the size chart image.

This is a tight fitting chain, great quality and has a really nice clasp.
Its very good quality but the clasp on the barb wore necklace is really difficult to work with. Im goingnto jabe to habe thsg part replaced. Nonwayni cam deal woth it. The other necklace i got had a freat and easy to use clamp. Anyway inlike rhe produxts just not this clamp

Barbs aren't steel, they tarnish after a couple days and leave black residue on your skin.

Brought as a wedding gift, sadly the barbed wire pieces on the chain have already discoloured.
Looks really good, gets a little uncomfortable for a long wear because it is fairly heavy, but it is not bad. The locking mechanism is not the best and tends to unclasp itself if it moves around a bit. Probably would have been more practical as a hook style lock instead of the press fit.
